Although women make up approximately ten percent of the total prison population, the female prison and jail population currently outpaces the growth of the male inmate population. CPF views ministry to female offenders as a top priority. Not only is CPF committed to providing ministry and helpful resources to women during their incarceration, but recognizing the extreme vulnerability of many women upon release, CPF is committed to assisting women in their transition back into society.
